how they work:
the master board detects trains by bouncing invisible Infra-Red (IR) light off the underside of the rolling stock, or install it on track side, detecting the light reflected back. Once triggered by the train, the module runs built-programs. ( black surface will absorb most IR light, you may stick white tape under the train or use track side sensors )
1, stop and restart train before the rail spur.
When the train passes the detector, the slave board will cut off power to the near tracks so that no train can get through the near tracks, Once the train has fully cleared the detector, the slave board power the near tracks again so that the near train can restart.
2, stop the train and restart it at station or let the train run back.
When the train trigger the detector, the slave board will cut off the power to the tracks and stop the train, after the set time, it will power the tracks again and the train will restart. Or run to another direction under shuttle mode.
